Dear CLC family, Christian Life Community:
One month after the double earthquake, we express our solidarity with everyone affected by this tragedy.
The members of CLC Venezuela were unharmed and joined the ecclesial support networks, especially those led by the Society of Jesus, to bring relief and hope. We extend our gratitude to all.
Special gratitude to CLC in Latin America and around the world for their closeness, prayers, and generous readiness to send material aid — a testimony of fraternal unity that fills us with hope and commitment.
The tragedy revealed vulnerabilities within our apostolic body: housing safety risks, situations of reduced mobility, and other pressing needs. To address them, we organized the “Abrazo que nos reconstruye” (An Embrace that Rebuilds Us) collection. If you would like to join this gesture of solidarity through a donation, we invite you to write to exsec@cvx-clc.net, where we will share the necessary information with you.
We are committed to offering psycho-spiritual accompaniment and material relief. We also seek to strengthen community unity and resilience, moved by the desire “to love and serve in all things,” as we face the integral national reconstruction ahead of us.
Your prayers are most welcome.
We move forward, faithful to our charism, under the mantle of Our Lady of Coromoto and grounded in Christ, our cornerstone.
AMDG Jeanette Rincón Morales, National Coordinator, and the other members of the CEN CVX-CLC Venezuela
