With faith and hope, the Nicaraguan community moves forward on its Ignatian path despite the national context
On Sunday, 22 March, the Christian Life Community (CLC) of Nicaragua successfully concluded its National Assembly, a gathering marked by prayer, discernment, and community renewal.
During the Assembly, the new National Executive Council was formed, comprising:
- President: Darling Rodríguez
- Secretary: Mauricio Centeno
- Treasurer: Samuel Zepeda
A particularly meaningful moment during the Assembly was the reading, before the entire national community, of the greeting letter sent by the CENAL Coordinating Team on behalf of CLC Latin America. Their words were received with deep joy and gratitude, and experienced as a true sign of God’s providence. The Nicaraguan community expressed having heard in that message the same encouragement with which God spoke to Moses and Jeremiah: “Do not be afraid. I am with you”.
This gesture of closeness and fraternal accompaniment strengthened the community’s spirit and was felt as a gift that reveals the unity of CLC across Latin America.
CLC Nicaragua reaffirms its Ignatian vocation of contemplation and action, and declares itself always open to the voice of God, continuing to build the Kingdom from within its own national reality.
