“Today has been a day of looking at how we (delegates) are/feel, opening ourselves to others. We started our day with a very prayerful opening Eucharist with readings in Mandarin and Kiswahili as a sign that we are a global community with very diverse backgrounds.
We were then introduced to the team of facilitators who explained the process we will be going through over the next 9 days. We will follow a Theory U process to listen to Spirit and understand where it is calling us. It has been a day to reconnect with companions with whom we have been on other journeys/experiences and to make new friends/companions in this new experience/journey”.
