Hosted by CLC in Asia-Pacific, the prayer has a focus on the Amiens General Assembly this August and takes inspiration from the hopes expressed in Project 179. A meditative reading of the Annunciation passage opens us to consider how we hear God’s invitations in our daily lives. We then hear testimonies from members of CLC in Korea, the Philippines, and Taiwan about how they have each responded to God’s call. These stories encourage us to reflect on our own experiences of active waiting and active hope. The community will then gather its prayers before God, asking for creative hope on the path to the General Assembly: Lord, help us to go forth; show us the way!
