The International Youth Ministry Congress that took place from 23rd to 25th of May in Rome, brought together around 300 delegates from Episcopal Conferences and Movements from 110 countries. CLC was represented by Inji Faez (Consultor of the “Leadership Community in discernment” -W-ExCo), from CLC Egypt and by Mª Francisca Silva, from CLC in Portugal and member of the CLC Youth working team.

With the theme ‘For a synodal youth ministry: new leadership styles and strategies’, there were days of listening and sharing on topics such as the reality of young people in the post-pandemic and in times of war, leadership, synodality, spiritual accompaniment of young people and pastoral in a digital environment. It was also time to evaluate the World Youth Day (WYD) in Lisbon and launch the WYD in Seoul in 2027, and information was also provided about the World Youth Jubilee in Rome the next year (2025).
