Midpoint in Lent is a great time to pause, remember or move forward with your Lenten resolutions!
We would like to take this opportunity to present a Lenten Scratch Card (in Polish: Zdrapka Wielkopostna ©). In 2026 we held the twelfth edition of this unique CLC initiative in Poland (mainly by the Community from Toruń in cooperation with other Communities), which since 2015 has been helping people experience Lent in an orderly, in-depth and very practical way.
This year’s edition, titled “Disciple-Missionary of Peace,” explores 4 pillars of faith inspired by the teachings of 4 popes: from the courage of St. John Paul II, through the depth of love and truth of Benedict XVI, the joy and tenderness of Francis, to the call for “building bridges” of peace, taken up by Leo XIV. These inspirations create a coherent spiritual path leading from personal courage in faith to concrete attitudes in relationships with others.
The Lenten Scratch Card contains over forty activities for each day of Lent. Each activity invites you to a short, daily spiritual exercise that can be completed individually, with your family, at school, or with your parish community. This makes it a personal guide for the entire period of preparation for Easter. As in previous years, the Lenten Scratch Card has been approved by the Imprimi Potest. This implies align with Catholic doctrine and the spiritual nature of this initiative.
