{"id":14871,"date":"2025-06-10T12:05:26","date_gmt":"2025-06-10T10:05:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cvx-clc.net\/?p=14871"},"modified":"2025-06-10T12:09:48","modified_gmt":"2025-06-10T10:09:48","slug":"come-and-see-the-unseen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cvx-clc.net\/en\/come-and-see-the-unseen\/","title":{"rendered":"Come and see \u2013 the Unseen"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>Days of encounter in the European capital of culture Chemnitz 2025<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><em>Daniela Frank (original in English)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-14864 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/cvx-clc.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IMG_4155-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/>The community of the dioceses of Dresden-Mei\u00dfen and G\u00f6rlitz in Saxonia, Eastern part of Germany, had invited CLCers and others interested to discover the new and the unseen \u2013 in the encounter with God, with each other and the city of Chemnitz, formerly down as \u201cKarl-Marx-Stadt\u201d. Thus, around 120 people from various parts of Germany, from Austria, Estonia, France, Luxemburg and Sweden met in May 28 in the local parish and spent the following three days together.<\/p>\n<p>Many of the participants haven\u2019t been before in the Eastern part of Germany, the former German Democratic Republic. How did people live in a system of socialist dictatorship? How about CLC \u2013 a small group in the tiny minority of Catholics? Currently, Chemnitz has about 250.000 inhabitants, of whom only 6.000 are members of the Catholic Church.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-14867 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/cvx-clc.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IMG_4199-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/>We spent the days in workshops, getting to know one another and sharing own experiences. We discovered the city and especially various projects of the \u201cCulture Church\u201d, an initiative of the various Christian Churches in the city, contributing to the capital of culture and its motto \u201cC the unseen\u201d.
