José was present at our last General Assembly in Buenos Aires as part of the ESDAC (Exercices Spirituels pour un Discernement Apostolique en Commun) team that guided the process and experience of common discernment.
José is 50 years old. He was born in Spain. He completed a degree in Philosophy and Literature at the Pontifical University of Comillas and a degree in Theology at the Miltown Institute in Dublin. He has a Master’s degree in Journalism. For the last seven years he has been living in Brussels, working as assistant (socius) of the President of the Conference of European Provincials. Previously, José has worked in Spain in education and youth ministry.
Fr. José will begin his responsibility as World Vice-Ecclesiastical Assistant from the 1st of September 2020 and will develop his new mission by living and collaborating at the Saint Ignatius’ Santa Cova Sanctuary in Manresa (Spain).
