These are his words
Dear Friends,
I am Tryphena Koh, the newly elected president of CLC in Korea at the 2024 National Assembly. Humbly relying on the Holy Spirit, I pray that I will be able to live out my mission as I have learned in the community along the way.
CLC in Korea has been striving to go further into the world, following the discernment to deepen, share, and go forward at the 2018 World Assembly. We have discerned to create “The House of Hospitality for the Youth” and “Life Network” with a focus on ecology and young people and have carried out apostolic activities.
At the 2024 National Assembly, we discerned that our priority is to connect these apostolic activities with the ones for forming lay people and to strengthen solidarity with other organizations and people of good will. I hope that the many people who have already become a gift in the world, the laity, and those in need will live together and become hope to each other. The national community is making efforts in many ways to form its members accordingly.
So far, the world community has provided a lot of support in helping CLC in Korea to take directions. Thank you for supporting us so that we can experience the joy of living as one apostolic community. In the future, I hope that CLC can deepen our solidarity among national communities through various ways, as invited in the final document of the Amiens World Assembly.
Please pray for CLC in Korea.
United in the Community,
Tryphena Koh
President of CLC in Korea
