About the CLC Regional Assembly in Europe
The CLC Europe Regional Assembly in May 2024 was attended by more than 50 delegates from 21 countries. Unfortunately CLC in Luxembourg could not be present. Three days of discernment to respond, as a pilgrim community in Europe, to the central question: in what creative ways is the Holy Spirit calling us to strengthen our sense of being one community?

These were days for sharing and listening attentively to the road traveled during
These five years. The work carried out in the various networks active in Europe: Youth, Migration, Ecology and

Spirituality.

Days to listen also to the President of the World Community sharing what was experienced at the World Assembly in Amiens (France).
Days to discern how to move forward. Four axes were defined so that the next Euroteam can continue to develop with the support of the entire community in Europe:
– Create a communication team to help develop and deepen internal and external communication.
– To deepen the knowledge of CLC in Europe: to have contact with all the national communities, to see where support is needed, to see what the national communities can offer to Europe.

– Growing together: Connecting and sharing experiences, accompanying each other.
Generating spaces for sharing from diversity. Focusing on training, especially on common discernment and DSSE (Discerning, Sending, Supporting, Evaluating).
– The apostolic dimension: continue to strengthen the work being done in the four areas identified. Explore the possibility of creating networks at the Family and Spirituality levels.
During this regional Assembly, a new Euroteam (a leadership community) was also elected for the period 2024-2029. They are:
Coordinator: Angelika Scholz, from CLC in Germany
Members:
Mirella Gaboli, from CLC in Spain
Eleonora Milazzo, from CLC in Italy
Rasa Darbutaite, CLC in Lithuania
