Workshop on the Clock of Life, organized by CLC in England and Wales

27 Nov, 2024 | Family, News

The mission of the Clock of Life is to “Generate spaces in life and alleviate suffering in people in the twilight of life”. This tool has been created to be shared within CLC and as an outreach apostolic tool. It has been developed with the elderly people of our society in mind, structured in a way that can be offered within parishes, residential homes, retreat houses and other spaces where healing in the light of faith is required.
This formation workshop will be intense (as the content will be condensed within 3 days). Even though there will be spaces for individual reflection, small group and whole group sharing, the reflection time will be limited (in contrast to the ideal delivery of the tool for elderly groups).
The experiential and shared part of the formation will be carried out throughout these 3 days of in-person training. Following this experience, there will be an additional element of the training which will be carried out online. This latter part will look at the theoretical and methodological framework of the tool in order to develop a deeper understanding of this and eventually gain the necessary knowledge and experience to be able to offer it within our communities and as an outreach project.
