Join the World CLC Day Global Prayer 2023 on Saturday 25 March!
Hosted by CLC in Asia-Pacific, the prayer has a focus on the Amiens General Assembly this August and takes inspiration from the hopes expressed in Project 179. A meditative reading of the Annunciation passage opens us to consider how we hear God's invitations in our daily lives. We then hear testimonies from members of CLC in Korea, the Philippines, and Taiwan about how they have each responded to God's call. These stories encourage us to reflect on our own experiences of active waiting and active hope. The community will then gather its prayers before God, asking for creative hope on the path to the General Assembly: Lord, help us to go forth; show us the way!
The prayer will be available in the three official languages of CLC and can be followed at the CLC Youtube Channel

CHRISTIAN LIFE COMMUNITY PREPARES FOR THE 18th GENERAL ASSEMBLY
The supreme governing body of CLC will meet in Amiens, France, from 3 to 12 August 2023.
The grace we ask to the Lord at our Assembly is: Lord, help us to go forth; show us the way.
The Scripture passage: "You will be my witnesses...to the ends of the earth" (Acts: 1:8).
The theme: Discerning paths for hope
Delegates from all national communities will be present to discern the paths that will lead us beyond what the community already is, beyond our comfort zones, beyond intentions. We shall look for ways to promote hope, which is always a gift of God, that produces concrete facts and changes lives.

Fr. Patrick O'Sullivan SJ
Yesterday, 31 May 2022, we received this message from the President of CLC in Australia, Jenny Gardner:
“I wanted to inform you that we heard today that our dear friend in CLC Fr Patrick O’Sullivan SJ died overnight…Patrick will be sadly missed. He made an enormous contribution to CLC over many, many years, with many of us being graced by his life and the wisdom he so generously shared with us. Patrick was Vice Ecclesial Assistant to the CLC World Community and also Ecclesial Assistant to CLC Australia for several years.
We remember in prayer particularly his family and his Jesuit community.”
Patrick O’Sullivan was born in Queensland. He grew up in Brisbane, Australia, where he was educated by the Christian Brothers. After school, he went to Melbourne to study for a Bachelor of Arts degree. He joined the Jesuits in 1951.
From 1973-79 he was provincial of the Australian Province of the Jesuits and then, from 1979 to 1986, Secretary for the Christian Life Communities (later, Vice-Ecclesiastical Assistant) in Rome where he worked in strict collaboration with Josée Gsell. Later, he spent some time in East Africa as pastoral assistant to JRS (Jesuit Refugee Service) , and then returned to Australia. Returning to Australia, Pat became a member of the first State Guiding Team (ExCo) for the state of Victoria. He guided 3 groups, including a group for Alcoholics/Narcotics Anonymous. At the end of 1998, he was moved to Sydney and has been invited to be a member of the State Guiding Team of New South Wales.
Patrick is being mourned by many Jesuits and CLC and members in Australia.
He was a much loved and a very significant person, a holy man and a friend, with a great wit and capacity for stories. A “beautiful man” and a very kind man.
Eadaoin HUI, from CLC in Hong Kong, shared with us the graced moments with Pat:
“We called him Pat or Fr. Pat. He had a great sense of humour and raised our spirits with his jokes. ‘What does the Big Chimney tell the Small Chimney? You are too young to smoke’. After the implant of stents in the 1990s, he said he had to practice ‘obedience’ to his medical doctor and had to stop smoking. So he alerted us that his homilies might not be as good as they used to be. Of course this was not true. He kept on inspiring us through his insightful inputs and writings, like the books ‘Sure Beats Selling Cardigans’, ‘God Knows How To Come Back Home’, ‘Prayer and Relationships’, ‘I Call You Friends’. He wrote just as he spoke. A lot of jokes when delivering deep spiritual messages. He was a person who could bring a smile to everyone’s face, even in difficult times.
Pat presented his message with precise words. “God does not deliver us from suffering. He delivers us through suffering”; “When one is in the position of power, it is an opportunity to serve”. When I shared with him about our friend facing illness, he responded: “When I contemplate my scholastics, my Lord loves them far more than I do”. In facing conflicts within the community, he remarked: “We are all people of the First Week of the Spiritual Exercises, not yet of the Third Week”.
I have known Pat since 1981, as the World vice-EA, then spiritual guide, friend. He played a significant role in our transformation from the World Federation to being a World Community. He loved and respected the CLC. We give thanks to God for the wonder of the being of Fr. Patrick O Sullivan, Pat our friend.”
We join in prayer for him, for the Society of Jesus in Australia and for the Christian Life Community in Australia and around the world as he served as National Ecclesiastical Assistant and World Vice Ecclesiastical Assistant (1979-1986). We thank God for his life of dedication and sharing in his various missions.

CLC Global Formation Encounter
On Saturday 16th October we started the journey that will lead us to the CLC Global Formation Encounter in August 2022 in Manresa, Spain. The motto we have chosen for the meeting is a phrase of Ignatius of Loyola: "Following you, Lord, I will not be able to get lost".
In this first (of three) meeting for Zoom, we gathered 150 people from more than 60 national communities.
We began the meeting with a prayer that made us realize that we are a world community that wants to walk together; that seeks to inhabit the earth from its frontiers, that, like the trees, we also want to go deep into our roots, to share and to go far. We come together as people dedicated to formation in national communities who wish to continue learning, opening ourselves to others and knowing that we need the Lord's help to live from the Gospel. We want to learn how to guide and accompany others on this path.
After the prayer, we shared a look at our reality in formation and the challenges that lie ahead and that we want to face together, seeking to give creative responses, faithful to our identity. We have a way to continue deepening and working. We know that formation is fundamental for the deepening, sustainability, and development of CLC.
There was time for members to meet in groups and to share, using spiritual conversation, fruits of prayer and what they were hearing beforehand.
• How do I define the purpose of formation in terms of CLC in my personal life?
• Why and what is the intention of CLC formation? CLC formation is for....
Finally, we shared the steps we will take towards the Global Formation Meeting.
We celebrate the possibility to meet, to listen to the world community with its questions and desires and to share this action that we propose from the World Executive Council and that we consider essential to continue deepening, sharing, and going forth to meet others.

World CLC Youth Gathering
As CLC we join the Ignatian Year, celebrating a World Youth Gathering. From Loyola, we will connect with young people from all over the world to give thanks, share and celebrate.
In the light of the conversion process of St. Ignatius, young people will journey through the wounds of today's world, we will approach our strengths that launch us to go out and discern the places we are called to inhabit. And like Ignatius on pilgrimage, we will set out on the road to meet others and build the Kingdom together.
We will have presentations that will help us to deepen our spiritual life, experiences of mission that national communities are carrying out and meetings in small communities to share what we are experiencing. Fr Arturo Sosa SJ, World Ecclesiastical Assistant will share a special message addressed to young people.
From the CLC social networks, we will be sharing all the information so that you don't miss it.

30th anniversary of the approval of the General Principles
Today, on the feast of St. Francis Xavier, we celebrate the 30th anniversary of the approval of the General Principles by the Pontifical Council for the Laity, given at the General Assembly in Guadalajara.
As the approval text says: “It is highly significant that this pontifical approval of the “General Principles of the Christian Life Community” occurs precisely in the Jubilee year, which celebrates the 500th anniversary of the birth of St. Ignatius Loyola and the 450th anniversary of the founding of the Society of Jesus. therefore all the members of the Christian Life Community should take to heart what has been written in the letter of Rev. Fr. Peter-Hans Kolvenbach when he points out that “the Ignatian year has no other purpose than the renovation, in the Spirit, of the apostolic life, both personal and at community level”, associating with this celebration in a special way “all those men and women who collaborate most intimately with the Society or who take their inspiration from Ignatian spirituality” while embracing “the Spiritual Exercises in all their rigor and authenticity”. This we ask of the Lord through the intercession of the Most Holy Virgin Mary, to whom the Christian Life community regards itself as profoundly and traditionally united from its very beginnings and in whom it has always wished to inspire its fidelity to the Lord and its apostolic and missionary zeal “for the greater glory of God”.”
We thank God for so much good received and so many possibilities to carry out our deepest desires of service, during these years.

Ignatius 500
CLC-CVX wants to join Ignatius 500, the celebration that marks the 500th anniversary of St. Ignatius’s conversion, with an international youth gathering in Loyola.
The Ignatian charisma so prized by Society of Jesus and shared by many has spread throughout many corners of the planet, and resonates with youth in a very special way.
In the gathering, young people will be able to experience their own conversion, as a reflection of St. Ignatius’s own personal transformation.
In keeping with Ignatius’s own experience, we will experience the Wound, just as today we face a wounded world in which so many are suffering.
Guided by the imagery of Ignatius’s experience, there will be the symbolic Tower of his house, recalling the strength that compels us to go forth and discern which frontiers we are called to inhabit.
As Ignatius did, we’ll go on a Pilgrimage, to encounter others along the way and build God’s Kingdom with others and for all.
And finally we’ll experience the Celebration alongside the entire Ignatian family, before going back to our countries of origin, confident that we have forged bonds with new friends in the Lord, offering all we are and in the hope of serving better wherever we are.
All of this in order to embrace the world, seeking to ease His creatures’ suffering, in the manner of St. Ignatius.
We’ll be joined by experts, Jesuits and CLC-CVX members, who will accompany us on this journey by sharing their knowledge and experience. And we will also receive the visit and message of the Society’s Superior General Arturo Sosa.
So, don’t miss all the information we’ll be sharing on our Social Media!

Our dear world community,
Our beloved Father Adolfo Nicolás SJ has peacefully united with His creator and Lord today, 20th of May in Tokyo, Japan.
Fr Nicolas was our World CLC Ecclesiastical Assistant from 2008 until year 2016. He was a member of the World Executive Council and was present in Fatima 2008 and Lebanon 2013 World Assemblies. He was the 30th Superior General of the Society of Jesus.
Many of us have many heartfelt stories of personal encounters with Fr Nicolas. He was wise, generous, and warm. An encounter with him would almost always be infused with wit, tender laughter, and gentle truths. Meeting him was always a gratifying moment of deep human connection like seeing a dear friend, united in mission.
Recognising our particular vocation as a lay Ignatian community in the Church, Fr Nicolas accompanied and challenged us in our endeavours being actively present in the pressing realities of our world. Most notably, in Lebanon 2013, he invited us to rediscover the Language of Wisdom. He inspired us to explore how we might engage with the contemporary world beyond history and prophecy: wisdom. He pointed out that through Ignatian spirituality we can provide the depth which societies need today. Wisdom in this sense is about discovering God’s gracious action, not simply in his more obvious actions in history, but in everything, in ordinary life. It is the way of the Contemplation on Love (SpEx 230-237), of finding God in all things. (Lebanon 2013 – Final Document No. 7)
Today, we grieved as one community for losing a companion in the path. In the same vein, we also thank the Lord for the gift of fellowship and communion that have deepened with our Ignatian family and particularly, that of Society of Jesus, through Fr Nicolas.
Let us pray for the eternal rest of his soul.
Here are Fr. Nicolás' speeches at the G.A. in 2008 and 2013

Death does not have the last word. Life has won. Happy Easter!

CLC Italy and the Amazon Synod
CLC in Italy, in collaboration with the Jesuits of the Residence of St Ignatius in Rome, hosts a delegation of 25 people from the Amazon (itinerant team) who participate in the various activities surrounding the Amazon Synod in the Vatican. Below is a sharing of one of their encounters, as relayed by Maria Letizia (CVX in Rome Coordinator):
Many resonances on the testimony of Fernando Lopez sj and sr. Laura from the Itinerant Team during the Community Day for the opening of the social year, Sunday 13 October. We are living in Kairos, and the Synod on the Amazon is a sign of it, but it must also be a time of announcement, of denunciation, time of prophecy.
The Amazon teaches us to live the union in diversity; it would not be healthy in uniformity; everything is connected, we are connected to the earth and to the life of creatures: that the Church knows how to live this theological principle, maintaining unity in diversity, especially within itself!
The Amazon jungle needs us, we who live in the city jungle. We could not survive without one another; are we willing to fight to defend the life of the green forest, even if so far from us?
This is a Special Synod, as Fr. Lanzilli explained, born of specific requests from episcopal conferences in the geographical areas concerned. Amazonia, new paths for the church and the integrated ecology, is the title chosen, given the themes that we have chosen to collectively deal with.
It's no longer a church that visits, but a present church: the Synod involves everyone from below. The theme of integral ecology calls us to respect plurality and to let ourselves be enriched by diversity.
These in a nutshell are just some of the cues we heard.
It is with a deep sense of gratitude that at the end of the day we felt our horizon widen and reach a little further.
Thanks again to everyone for the participation and the contribution given to the organization of the day. And a further thank you if you want to share your resonances with us.

A Jesuit/Ignatian delegation will participate in the High Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development of the United Nations
On July 9, the High Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) will start in New York. It is a mechanism created by the United Nations to monitor and evaluate progress in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda regarding the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
This platform, convened by the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC), brings together states, international organizations, the private sector and civil society organizations with the aim of promoting accountability and exchange around compliance with the 2030 Agenda. This year, the general theme will be “Empowering people and ensuring inclusiveness and equality”. The following objectives will be evaluated in detail: Objective number 4, relating to quality education; 8, which refers to economic growth and decent work; 10, on reduction of inequalities; 13, on the fight against climate change, 16, on peace, justice and institutions, and 17, the creation of global alliances. In addition, 49 countries will voluntarily submit their reviews on how they are carrying out the 2030 Agenda in their territories.
On the initiative of the Social Justice and Ecology Secretariat of the Society of Jesus, a Jesuit / Ignatian delegation will participate in this forum this year. In the words of Father General, Arturo Sosa, SJ: “This is an important event for the Society of Jesus, first of all because we have a long experience of working in all these fields in numerous places in the world: accompanying excluded persons and communities, working for justice and reconciliation and for the care of our common home. These themes have been confirmed in the recent Universal Apostolic Preferences, that we have received from the Holy Father, following the path traced by General Congregation 35 when it encouraged us to "establish links in the field of public advocacy between political power and those who find it difficult to make their voices heard, building bridges and offering new forms of understanding”.
The Jesuit / Ignatian delegation will attend the debates within the United Nations, it will organize the event entitled "How to collaborate in the care of the Common House" and participate in numerous events related to environmental sustainability, inequality, indigenous peoples, or the right to a quality education, among others.
Here you can consult the full program of the High Level Political Forum. For more information about the debates and events, make sure to follow us through our social media.

Sharing the Jesuit Universal Apostolic Preferences
Dear CLC,
Our apostolic fellowship with the Society of Jesus continues to be a special gift in our Kairos moment in the Church and the world. It is a gift that intertwines and moves into common and diverse paths, in the service of Missio Dei.
With joy, we share with you their Universal Apostolic Preferences (1- the Spiritual Exercises and discernment, 2- Walking with the Excluded, 3- Journeying with Youth, and 4- Care of our Common Home).
May these be an inspiration for us, signifying that an ever deeper growth in one’s charism can lead to ever deeper growth in response. And may it be so for our own journey as a lay Ignatian apostolic body.

Cecilia Roselli – In memoriam
Dear friends
With great sorrow we announce the departure, at the age 30, to Our Father’s Home of Cecilia Roselli, a member of the Getsemani community.
Cecilia was a member of Christian Life Community since 2007, making her commitment in 2012. During those ten years she actively participated in the life of her community and carried out with great commitment her service to the National Community. She served as an advisor to and a member the National Executive Council. At the time of her death she was the representative of CVX Uruguay on the organizing team of the next World Assembly.
Her co-members will always remember her warmth and her smile, as well as her commitment and generous dedication. With her life, Checha showed us that difficulties and failures can be lived through with strength, joy and optimism, and that with Him by our side the burden is lightened (Mt. 11, 28-30).
We remember her for her great kindness, and although we are saddened by her departure, we thank God for having been privileged to journey with her these years and for the fruits of her life that will continue to mature in us. We ask the Lord to receive her with the same smile that Cecilia showed us, and that eternal light may shine upon her.

Caring for Creation
At the heart of the Encyclical’s proposal is an integral ecology as a new paradigm of justice, an ecology "which respects our unique place as human beings in this world and our relationship to our surroundings" (LS. #15). In thanksgiving and remembrance
Dear Friends,

It is with deep sympathies that we bring news of the passing of Hildegard Ehrtmann. She was 86 years old.
Hildegard served the World Community as Secretary from 1973 to 1976, and as Vice President from 1976 to 1979. In Germany and beyond, she was a key person for promoting the transition from Marian Congregation to Christian Life Community. She encouraged for renewal, and re-discovering the roots of our community, especially the Ignatian Spirituality and the Spiritual Exercises.
We are sad with her passing, but we are grateful for Hildegard’s life and her unique engagement for CLC. Let us spend a moment of silence in thanksgiving for the gifts that she brought to our community – and pray that we may continue to flourish these gifts as we move forward into the future.

XII Portuguese National Assembly
We in Portugal are about to enter an exciting weekend: we will have our XII Portuguese National Assembly, to be held at Fátima, where Pope Francis will soon come and visit us! Well, “us” Portuguese in general, not CLC itself, unfortunately... ;)

It will be a special moment for Portuguese CLC, as around 200 Delegates and Staff will be together to choose (amongst other things) a new National Team and discern about our mission for the next 3 years: “To Care For and Send” is our motto, as we will be looking at our community and to those that address us (To Care For) in order to better collaborate with the Lord in building His Kingdom in whatever mission inspired by Him (Send)!

In such a special occasion, we ask all of you to pray for us and to join us at www.an2017.org - a blog specially prepared to let all CLC’ers (Portuguese and non-Portuguese) know what is going on in Fátima and, with the grace of the Lord, feel inspired by Him! At the best of our efforts we will include posts in portuguese and english... :)

See you all at www.an2017.org!

With all our best,
The Portuguese National Team

Report from PanAmazon
Lorena Perez (CVX Ecuador), or Lore, currently works as the volunteer for the Amazon Project. She shares with us her monthly reflections on her life and work as a way to unite with the world community's mission in the ecology frontier.

"Each face reflects a light and shadow, each carries a dream. They all have a unique way of looking after this earth and being at one with nature. They know intuitively if a cloud means rain, or if it will soon pass over and be tossed away by the wind, like the leaves that flutter in the trees."

Peter-Hans Kolvenbach SJ

Fr. Kolvenbach passes away
Fr. Peter-Hans Kolvenbach SJ, 29th Superior General of the Society of Jesus, passed away on November 26, 2016. Fr. Kolvenbach was the World CLC Ecclesiastical Assistant (EA) from 1984 to 2008. Throughout his 24 years as our EA, he continuously reminded us of our deep heritage within the Church and the Ignatian tradition. He reminded the Society of Jesus and CLC that working with each other enriches our mission. He believed that our being one world body was a manifestation of our communion with the Church. In this, we are united with him in prayer, and in gratitude for the life he has gifted us with.

The World CLC Executive Secretary meets CLC Switzerland
On Sunday October 9th, the CLC Switzerland met with the Executive Secretary of the World CLC, Alwin Macalalad. Here is the report of the meeting:

Amen.

Jurate Marclay, Martina Fäh

If you have time and capacity, you may wish to post the Spanish, English and local translations for their prayer chain here too. Thank you!

Pope Francis’ Visit to the Congregation
This morning Pope Francis came to the Jesuit Curia and met with Father General Arturo Sosa and the delegates of the General Congregation 36. Three things that we can also reflect on as a lay community:
1. Seeking consolation,
2. Living in compassion,
3. Discerning and thinking with the Church.

Season of Creation
Dear Friends in CLC,
September 1 was proclaimed as the World Day of Prayer for Creation by the Orthodox Church in 1989, and many other Christian churches have joined since then, with Pope Francis most recently in 2015. It was then extended to be a month-long Season of Creation, ending on October 4 (Feast of St. Francis).
You are encouraged to participate by organizing prayer services (you can use our Progressio Supplement 72! http://www.cvx-clc.net/l-en/progressio.php ) and activities for engaging the ecological crisis.

Fr. Jim Borbely SJ, CLC-USA EA
Fr. Jim Borbely S.J. Ecclesial Assistant for CLC USA died on August 1st after a short illness. Please keep him and his family and friends in your prayers.

Father Jim’s experience with CLC included facilitating the discernment process at the World Assembly in Guadalajara Mexico in 1990 when Christian Life Community adopted the revised General Principles and General Norms. For years afterwards, he served as a consultant and resource person to CLC-USA as we sought ways – in our diversity – to grow into “one body” and to more effectively organize our national community for mission. In 2012 he assumed the position of CLC-USA National Ecclesial Assistant. He served in this capacity until his death.

We are grateful for Fr. Jim's gifts to our community, his deep insight into Ignatian group life and communal discernment and his commitment to CLC as a lay Ignatian body.

At the request of the Superior General of the Society of Jesus, a group of Jesuits involved in the Middle East wrote the following text. It is primarily a call to the conscience of everybody in the light of what many Christians are living today in the Middle East.
May this text lead to exchanges and encourage all those who are concerned for the future of the peoples living in this region, to take concrete initiatives.

In thanksgiving and remembrance
Dear Friends,

It is with deep sympathies that we bring news of the passing of Fred Leone.

Fred and his wife Betty were instrumental CLC leaders in both the USA level, and the world community level, dedicating much effort during the transition period and in working towards CLC's NGO recognition in the United Nations. As National President of Sodalities in the USA in 1967, the national community's shift from Sodalities to the World Federation of CLCs became a reality during Fred's term of office. He served in the World ExCo as Vice President from 1970-76 and 1979-82. His 93 years of life was marked by a generous support for the community, and an emphasis on works for justice.

Let us spend a moment of silence in thanksgiving for his life, and the life he has brought to our world community-- gifts that we shall continue to hold as we move forward into the future with hope.

A platform for linking local CLC action on the Ecology Frontier
On Local Action
Our national communities have been initiating local efforts to respond to Laudato Si. Much of the efforts have been in the form of prayer and reflection spaces; in others, National assemblies have focused on the theme of Ecology, and have produced some materials and action steps for national action. Local action continues to be relevant because these give the necessary contextual and cultural characteristics for effective action.

Our Local Efforts Linked Together
Currently, through the efforts of the CLC Ecology Commission, we have linked with the Global Catholic Climate Movement (GCCM)- a network of Catholic communities, organizations and partners who would like to unite various local and global efforts under a common platform. Common actions that we encourage CLC participation through GCCM are:

•Signing a petition for leaders to keep the temperature rise below 1.5C
•COP21 Paris Climate Summit Prayer (which can be done individually, or by communities)
•Global Climate March (Nov 29)

This is currently our platform for united action. We strongly encourage you to link your CLC activities in the Ecology Frontier (whether it be vigils, advocacy letters and other apostolic action) with this in mind, and to register as CLC groups in their website: http://catholicclimatemovement.global/take-action/ . By doing this, we connect beyond our world CLC community and move closer to actual global common action.

As local communities, we are encouraged to continue our locally discerned callings and responses to our Ecology Frontier. But know that we are part of a larger-spanning endeavor to care for our common home, through GCCM, and the larger human community.

Please do not hesitate to share your actions and invitations via our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/CVX-CLC-6562037665/ . And check our site for important World CLC updates: http://cvx-clc.net/

Let us continue to pray together for each other and our world.

Survey on the Frontiers
Last May 2015, in the president’s letter to the national communities, Mauricio Lopez requested all national communities to “put all your energies” into responding to a survey regarding their endeavors in the four frontiers so that “we end up with a clear picture of who we are and what we are doing at the frontiers.”
This is one of the foundations of how we can connect our apostolic efforts and learn from each others’ challenges. Let’s do this and submit by November 30, 2015.

At the Frontiers with Asylum Seekers
European CLC, CVX-LMS Italy and CLC Migration Network propose a permanent experiential camp in Sicily, alongside asylum seekers hosted in the reception centers of the "Saint John the Baptist" Foundation of Ragusa.

PROJECT
We intend to be present where the migrants come in and search the first aid in Italy. According to G.P. 8 and "aware of the pressing need to work for justice through a preferential option for the poor, and a simple lifestyle that manifests our freedom and our solidarity with them," with this project CLC / LMS seeks a dual purpose:
 be neighbour to each other in difficulty,
 make those who work for justice do not feel alone.

OUR TARGET
The experience is offered to young people, but not only, belonging to the European CLC or interested to get involved actively in the work with migrants.

Meeting between the General Council of Jesuits and CLC
On Tuesday, 27 March 2012, Fr. General and his Council met with some members of the Executive Council (ExCo) of CLC. The purpose of this meeting was to explore how these two Ignatian bodies in the Church could continue their close collaboration. There was exchange of gratitude and appreciation for the constant support to one another. Then the members of the meeting looked into the various dimensions through which CLC, as a Lay Apostolic Body, could carry the Ignatian charism into all the areas such as their daily life, apostolic involvement, and responsibility for institutional works. Final discussion was on the oncoming celebration of the 450 years Jubilee of Ignatian lay communities in 2013.
